Pre-motherhood's diary: Am I ready???
I believe children are of all genres and types, all naughty and wise or even all playful and nice??? How can I possible link such sentences together… Oh my gosh…I’ve been an avid lover for the comic strip, “Baby’s Blue” and it has illustrated well enough of parenthood of young toddlers, well of course, I’ve prepared for all the nonsense that I could possible get…
The weekend was tiring… The only word I can think now… Handling a toddler and her temporary play mood and coaxing her to behave was not that hard as I expected. Maybe she knows that I might scream my head off her if she does misbehave. But the most tiring part is the playmate part… somehow a little “Hi”, a little toys rolling around, a little bowling session could easily enticed a toddler world of fantasy and imagination.
But I guess the most tiring is not answering the toddler but to an adult asking this and that… It did blow my anger to 70%... maybe the conversation did not start well… so it’s really hard for me to communicate nicely…
The children’s laughter really made my day, all the stress and anger somehow being submerged or vanished… Though I’m still in the unsure state, but I’m looking forward to have my children to make my day not only brighter but meaningful… together with little gesture… :P
So the question now is whether am I prepared for the motherhood, not only to handle just the play portion but to coax, teach, guide, nurture, grow and the list go longer and longer… My question will divert to little gesture… Are you prepared for fatherhood?
